关于举办吉林大学第一届大学生英语辩论赛的通知

全校学生：

为进一步提升我校学生英语应用水平，提高逻辑思维能力，拓宽学生国际视野，在校团委校园活动类项目的支持下，近期将由校学生社团联合会、英语辩论社联合举办吉林大学第一届大学生英语辩论赛，现将有关事宜通知如下：

一、参赛对象

    吉林大学在籍学生，年级、专业不限。

二、赛制说明

本次英语辩论赛将采用英国议会制辩论形式（British ParliamentaryDebate Styles）进行，报名参赛方式为两人一队，单人选手将由举办方随机组队。比赛规则和基本技巧可参考《思辨精英：英语辩论——构筑全球视角》或关注吉大英辩社微信公众号（JLUEDS）检索往期推送获取。若有不明之处，可联系工作人员。

三、报名方式

以“姓名+性别+学院+年级+联系方式”格式向邮箱jlueds@126.com发送报名邮件或向13711568757 发送报名短信，团队报名请将队员参赛信息编辑于一条信息中，并注明队伍名称，主办方将在收到报名信息后回复确认。

报名截止时间为2017年5月4日（星期四）22:00。

四、赛程安排

1.赛事演示：5月6日（星期六）9:00-11:00 ，主要内容为介绍辩论流程、讲解辩论技巧及现场模拟辩论。

2.循环赛：5月6日（星期六）13:00-15:00（第一场）

5月6日（星期六）15:30-17:30（第二场）

5月7日（星期日）9:00-11:00（第三场）

3.总决赛：5月7日（星期日）14:00-17:00，决赛参赛队伍为累计得分最高的4支团队。

具体比赛地点将根据报名情况，直接通知参赛选手。

To All the international students:

Our university will hold English Debate Competition recently. We hope you can join in it.

Coverage: All the domestic and International students in Jilin University

Rules of the Debate Competition: We use the British Parliamentary Debate Styles. You can  register single or in pairs. Send your team name and all the team members'“Name+Gender+College+Grade+Personal contact” to the “jlueds@126.com” or send it to the 13711568757. The organizers will reply you after you finish the registration through the phone or the E-mail.

Schedule:  Rule explanation--May 6,2017  9:00-11:00

          Group round robin---May 6,2017  13:00-15:00(First)

                           May 6,2017  15:30-17:30(Second)

                           May 7,2017  9:00-11:00(Third)

          Finals---May 7,2017  14:00-17:00(Top 4 in Group round robin)
