I. Functions of the campus smartcard

JLU campus smartcard is a contactless radio frequency card that can be used as ID card at the campus, with functions of ID recognition, commercial consumption, on-campus comprehensive management,etc. The smartcard will make your work, study and living in JLU more convenient, and give you access to almost all university facilities.

II. Pass Word of the campus smartcard

The initial password of a student card (password for payment and for inquiry) is the last six digits of the passport number of the card holder. The card holder can change the password for payment and inquiry on an automatic transfer machine (the format of the passport: six digits and “000000” is not accepted). Password for inquiry can be changed on the website of the smartcard, mobile service portal and the online service portal. In the event that the card holder forgets the password or the password becomes invalid, the password should be reset by the cardholder with his/her passport at computer labs in cafeterias at all campuses. (Please keep the password firmly in mind after being reset.)

III. Recharging the smartcard

1. Transfer and recharging on automatic transfer machine. 2. Transfer and recharging on online self-service portal. 3. Transfer and recharging through mobile self-service portal. 4. Recharging by cash

IV. Reporting, cancelling and replacing a lost smartcard

If your smartcard is lost or stolen, please take the following measures at the earliest.

1. Reporting the lost card by phone: self-service number 85166433;

2. Reporting the lost card on automatic transfer machine;

3. Reporting the lost card on the website of the campus smartcard xyk.jlu.edu.cn;

4. Reporting the lost card on mobile self-service portal.

5. Cancelling the lost card: through automatic transfer machine.

Please visit the computer labs in cafeterias of all campuses (locations of computer labs are shown in Table 2) with your passport for replacement of smartcard or other services. The balance of the lost smartcard will be transferred to the new card automatically. 20 yuan will be charged as nominal fee for replacement of the smartcard.

V. Smartcard Usage Policy

1. The smartcard is a contactless CPU card that can be used as an electronic wallet. Please keep the smartcard 0-5 cm away from the card reader, and do not withdraw the card too early when making the payment. Withdraw the card when the card readers give notifications.

2. When making payment by the smartcard, if the amount of consumption is typed wrong on the card reader, the amount of payment can be corrected at the computer labs at cafeterias at all campuses once the mistake has been verified.

3. The campus smart card is charged per meal. Please enter the password if the total amount of consumption per meal exceeds 30 yuan. The limit of consumption can be adjusted by the card holder on the website of campus smartcard and the automatic transfer machine.

4. Please keep the smartcard properly. The smartcard should not be abraded or folded, and be away from heat, static electricity and high magnetic field.
