Introduction
The School of Business of Jilin University has inherited much of the university’s rich legacy. Today, the Business School has eight departments and three research centers. The School offers five doctoral degree programs, two postdoctoral programs, and eight master’s degree programs. In addition, the School offers five professional master’s degree programs. They are Masters of Business Administration, Executive Masters of Business Administration, Masters of Finance, Masters of Project Management, and Masters of Professional Accounting .The School boasts some outstanding areas. Its Quantitative Economics has been granted the title of National Key Discipline and has been recognized by the Ministry of Education as the only key research base in its field. Its Enterprise Management is the Key Discipline of Jilin Province. The School’s team of multi-disciplinary faculty offers a balanced combination of backgrounds from both liberal art and science. The School has 113 full-time faculty members, including 39 full professors and 50 associate professors.

Research
In the past decade, our school’s faculty members have produced over 2,000 academic publications both at home and abroad, and over 100 monographs, textbooks and translated works. The School has undertaken more than 40 important research projects with funding from the National Natural Science Foundation, from the National Social-Science Foundation, the State High-Technology Development Plan (863 Program), or from the Humanities-and-Social-Science Foundation of the Ministry of Education.
Facilities
The School has a Library and Information Center, a Financial High-Frequency Data and Economic Dynamics Simulation Lab, a Certified Public Accountant Lab, an Enterprise Sand-Table Simulation Lab, and an MBA Multimedia Case Room. These help to create a superior study environment for all teachers and students.

International Collaboration and Exchange
The School pays particular attention to international exchanges. The School has dispatched nearly 40 faculty members for study, research or teaching to Canada, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, the Netherlands, New Zealand, the United Kingdom and the United States of America. The School has established official co-operative exchange relationships with Seoul’s National University of Korea, the University of Illinois of the US, the University of Newcastle of Australia, and the University of Otago, New Zealand. The School has also conferred some internationally renowned professors as honorary professors and guest professors, such as Joseph Stiglitz, recipient of the Nobel Memorial Prize in Economic Sciences and former Senior Vice President as well as Chief Economist of the World Bank, Lawrence J. Lau, renowned Chinese economist and former Vice-Chancellor of the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Naoshi Morikawa, former Chief Specialist of the Tokyo Grain Exchange, and many others.
