On October 19th, College of International Education organized over 100 international students newly enrolled this September to participate in the Jilin Province University Students Orienteering Competition organized by the Education Department of Jilin Province.
The scenery in Jingyuetan Lake in late autumn was fascinating. Leaves of crimson, yellow and dark green, layer upon layer, were swayed gently by the breeze, and seemed to be welcoming the students that came from afar. The vast expanse of green grasslands looked greener and more beautiful with dew of late autumn. Seeing the beautiful scenery and breathing the fresh air, the freshman students from over 30 countries walked in the forest and felt the joy of orienteering competition.
Via this activity, the new students knew Changchun better and exchanged with Chinese and international students from other universities in Jilin Province. It relieved their pressure from daily life and study and showed them the happiness derived from being in the nature.
