Jilin University is entrusted by the Education Ministry of China as one of the institutions to award China-U.S. Degree Program of Chinese Government Scholarships to international students for the academic year 2019.
Jilin University is a key comprehensive university under the direct jurisdiction of the Ministry of Education. It was founded in 1946 and strongly supported by China’s “Project 211” and “Project 985”. And in 2017 it was selected as a “national first-class university”. With a student body of over 73,000, JLU offers a wide range of disciplines in 47 colleges or schools, covering 13 academic categories.
