In the afternoon of May 16th, 2016, College of International Educational organized international students to have Chinese Corner in Friendship Study. Students from Argentina, Russia, the Republic of Korea, Senegal, Vietnam and other countries attended the event and had a happy and fruitful time.
The Chinese Corner started with self-introductions by the international students. Some international students were better at Chinese than others, but they could all have simple communications. Funded by the Confucius Institute Scholarship, Nicolas said he liked today’s event and was happy to make new friends and meet new teachers. He promised to bring his own friends here in the future.
Friendship Study is a book-reading area reserved for international students, and has seen a series of reading exchanges and teaching activities. To enrich international students’ extra curricular life, Chinese Corner is held regularly this semester. It aims at making learning Chinese more fun for international students and deepening their understanding of Chinese culture.
