They all believed that the establishment of these international students clubs not only allowed international students to demonstrate their talents and their own culture but also gave Chinese and international students more opportunities for exchanges and mutual learning, which would help international students to fit in in the university and in the Chinese society. They promised to actively participate in all kinds of cultural and sports events in the university so as to diversify campus culture and make the university more internationalized.
After that Professor Liu Debin delivered his speech. He offered congratulations on the establishment of these international students organizations and spoke positively of them, saying that these organizations composed of both Chinese and international students would facilitate more activities to be held for them, become exchange platforms for Chinese and international students and accelerate the internationalization pace of Jilin University.
After the establishment ceremony, 32 international students from 14 countries such as Russia, South Korea and Vietnam presented a wonderful performance. The spirited opening aerobics performance “Bright Youth Time” showed the vigor and beauty of students as well as their enthusiasm and charm. The song “Zhen’ai yongyuan” were sang in Chinese, English, Russian and Vietnamese languages together; the singers, despite their differences in language and culture, shared the same passion and dream. South Korean dance “I Am the Best” pushed the atmosphere to a climax and won many rounds of applause. Xiangsheng performance (Chinese crosstalk) “This Is Not My Fault” made everyone laugh. The brilliant B-Box performance presented by South Korean students made the atmosphere increasingly lively. The performance ended with folk music presented by a Japanese student playing the hulusi (cucurbit flute) and the Flute and Xiao (Chinese vertical flute) Association.

The three association will strive to serve international students in the most thoughtful way possible so that international students can have the same living and study experience as the Chinese students. The three associations will cooperate with and complement each other for common development; they will seek to build themselves into brands of international students associations and become an important exchange platform for Chinese and international students.
