Changchun in June is cool, and Jingyuetan Lake after rain is particularly cool and cozy. On June 23rd, Division of International Relations and College of International Education of Jilin University organized over 200 international students from 26 countries to attend Changchun Jingyuetan Vasa Cross Country Running Festival. Of these students, 24 participated in running of 7.5 km, 15 km and 30 km, and the rest participated in hiking of 7.5 km.
Of the 4,000 participants, the international students stood out. During the long hiking trip, they were the target of many cameras. Many hikers came to talk to the international students and took photos with them. The international students were very active and devoted, reveling in the music and forest.
Jilin University organizes students to participate in Changchun Jingyuetan Vasa Cross Country Running Festival every year. It enriches their extra curricular life, enhances their understanding of Changchun and China at large and deepens their love for the beautiful city of Changchun.
