From February 20th to 23rd, 2017, Dai Jiayi and Yuan Xiaoyi from College of International Education of Jilin University, at the invitation of Thai-Chinese Language Culture Education Foundation, visited Rayong Province and Chonburi Province of Thailand to attend the Overseas Study Promotion for Fresh High School Graduates of Class 2017.
The Overseas Study Promotion for Fresh High School Graduates of Class 2017 for Rayong Prinvince took place in Map Ta Phut High School. Attendees included Governor of Rayong Province, Head of the provincial education department, principals of high schools in the province and fresh high school graduates and their parents. During the promotion, staff of Jilin University explained the basic situation of Jilin University in detail and warmly welcomed fresh graduates from all the high schools in Rayong Province to study in Jilin University. After the promotion, the staff paid a visit to Rayong Wittayakom School at invitation. They explained in detail the Chinese language majors in language schools of Jilin University to the teachers in charge of the Chinese side in the Confucius Classroom of Rayong Wittayakom School, and expressed the expectation to deepen cooperation.
The attendees of the promotion in Chonburi Province included persons in charge in the educational departments of the province and in main high schools. During the promotion, staff of College of International Education gave a detailed introduction to the basics of Jilin University and wrote down names of students intending to apply for Jilin University.
This promotion is the second cooperation between Jilin University and Thai-Chinese Language Culture Education Foundation. It allowed Thai students to learn about Jilin University and expanded the university’s enrollment channel in Thailand.
