On May 24th and 25th, 2014, College of International Education of Jilin University organized more than 120 athletes to participate in the fifth Changchun Foreign Friends Games. The games had seven categories, including football, basketball, ping pong, badminton, swimming and shooting. Over 400 athletes from over 20 foreign-related establishments took part. Jilin University won gold and silver medals in football matches; in ping pong, badminton, swimming, shooting and other matches, Jilin University also performed well and won gold and silver medals. Altogether, Jilin University won the most medals, 24 being gold, 25 silver and 10 bronze.
Since 2009, over 800 international students from Jilin University have participated in Changchun Foreign Friends Games. In such categories as football, ping pong, badminton and shooting, our international students have been invincible.
